Step 2. Fold and Sew Your Fabric
Fold it upside down, fold it twice a quarter of an inch and stitch to give it a finished edge.
Step 3. Trace the Pattern on a Tracer Paper, Pin and Cut!
Take the two fabrics. Put the two fabrics right sides together on top of the batting and place your template on top. Download the free template here. Put some pins in. You wanna make sure that your batting and your fabrics are slightly outside your template on all side. Cut all the way around the template.

Stitch a quarter inch around your template leaving the opening open. Back stitch from where you start and where you end. Cut a little triangle off right before your stitching as it'll help reduce bulk. When you turn it inside out it will look better. Cut a diagonal line on the inner corner.
Step 5. Measure and Fold
Measure 5/8 of an inch and fold both sides. Just press with your iron.
Step 6. Have Your Tea Towel Ready (the One That You've Sewn Previously on Step 2)
Using your top as a guide, fold the towel over and create some pleats. Measure 1 inch down on the towel and stuff this on the top and make sure you have about one inch in. Then take your towel and stitch all around the edge approximately a quarter inch in .
Step 7. Place Your Button and Make a Button Hole
