Make a Hat Day has always been celebrated in school. Although the originator is unknown, this is one way of teaching kids how to make a hat at the same time learn the value of the object. I could still vividly remember how I made a detailed three tiered cake hat for my little girl. It took me days I tell you, but the look on her face when she wore it was worth it. Kids can't contain their excitement when they love something!
