Cute Spring Outfits To Sashay Around In
These cute Spring outfits caught my eye ever since I saw them online! They’re breezy and colorful, and are basically some of my go-tos whenever I’m relishing Springtime. Looking for ideas for your little girl? I’ve got a few ideas below as well!
1. Flutterby Top
This flutterby top will leave your little one cool as daisy thanks to its fabric. Since the top isn’t too tight, she’ll still be comfortable playing around while wearing it. By the way, if you can, try to look for fabrics with a flower print to keep with the Springtime theme.
2. Wrap-Around Pinafore
A pinafore can double as a dress or a long top, which makes it a versatile clothing item. The pattern can be a little challenging but think of the pattern as a unique bib. This will help you identify the shape needed on the fabric.
3. Super Simple Beginner Skirt
Tip: When taking your hip measurements, it’s important to remember to measure the biggest part of your rear. It doesn’t matter if it’s below or above your hip bones. As long as it’s the fullest part, you’ve done it correctly.
4. Spring Shorts
These spring shorts are loose and super comfortable — an absolute need during the Spring season. To create the paper bag detailing at the waist, don’t forget to measure about 3.5cm from the folded end of the waistband.
5. Kimono Top
This kimono top is stylish and keeps you cool during the Spring season. One of the tricks I love about this tutorial is how it uses a loose shirt (that you have in your closet) to help set your pattern for the sewing project. With this fashion sewing project, there’s no more need to print pattern templates.

6. Vintage Shift Dress
Feeling nostalgic? DIY a vintage shift dress to relive your memories. A hook and eye can sometimes be flimsy when keeping a dress in place. Remedy this by swapping it out for a zipper or a few buttons for extra protection.
7. Junebug Dress
Don’t forget to add a seam allowance when taking measurements. For this sewing project, I recommend allotting 1/4” for your little one’s allowances.
